Canyon of Death is New Jere D. James Title

Before we shut down around here for the remainder of the week...just a few final notes.

Apache is now in the able hands of editor Paula Silici. Vin Libassi will be doing the cover for the book once things move along a bit.

Saving Tom Black has been re-uploaded, both the cover and interior. Back cover arrangement was changed a bit, adding Marshall Trimble's blurb and Western Fiction Review blurb. Front matter was added; back matter altered a tad; a few word changes to the text. Amen. Let's get this show on the road. The book will be released a bit earlier than anticipated.

Jere D. James has titled his third book in the Jake Silver Adventure series, Canyon of Death. No publication date has been set yet. This is James' third and final book for Moonlight Mesa. James signed on for three books. What happens next is anybody's guess. The elusive author has said he's taking a few months off before beginning the next project, which he admits may be his last - not just for Moonlight Mesa, but for quite a long, long spell. Ties him down too much!

Stoney Bowers will be submitting material for his second book, Native American Reflections, in January, which makes it extraordinarily difficult for a June publication as planned...particularly given other upcoming projects. We'll see what happens there.

Be back next week. Hopefully Blogger Dude will get back on the job! $5 a blog is plenty!!

Don't forget about the First Annual Cowboy Up Short Story Contest!!! Closing deadline is December 1.
