After only two weeks of Moonlight Mesa Associates, Inc. and Stoney Greywolf Bowers agreeing to collaborate for Reflections from the Wilderness, publisher Becky Coffield is pleased to announce that advance sales for the book are uncommonly strong.
"I think these advance sales are as strong as they are because Stoney Bowers has proven himself for many years to be a person of outstanding character," Coffield said. "This is only the beginning for him. I hope that Moonlight Mesa will be fortunate enough to produce all five volumes of Stoney's work."
"I'm also very excited about the possibility of Stoney being able to provide his own artwork for the illustrations. This is perhaps the most exhilarating project I've taken on. Publishing a book is one thing, but publishing a book of poetry is in itself a work of art. I'm relying on Stoney's artistic sense to help in the decisions that need to be made for this book. His publication will truly be a collaborative effort," Coffield added.
In other Moonlight Mesa news, the final draft of Saving Tom Black, Jere D. James' western romance, will be submitted sometime this week for final editing by Paula Silici. Vin Libassi has already completed the cover for James' book.
Reviews for Saving Tom Black will be given by Shirley Johnson of MidWest Book Review, Steve
Hayes and two other as yet unconfirmed reviewers.
